The Jaffna Nursing College has been closed on the 31st after 27 students studying at the Jaffna Nursing College contracted coronavirus.
Another 69 students who were associated with the sick students were quarantined inside the nursing school while the other students were given leave and sent back to their home.
A date for the reopening of the Jaffna Nursing College has not been announced and the quarantined students will be sent home after ten days, the Jaffna Nursing College administrator said.
